An article I wrote for Skateism about professional skater/legend: John Rattray’s efforts to use skateboarding raise funds and awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. The original title I submitted it with was “Beyond Coping” because mental health coping and also the coping that lines the edge of a ramp or transition but Skateism changed it into something way less poetic and way more boring which is one of the number of reasons why I haven’t written for them in awhile.
